Hitachi Chemical Diagnostics OPTIGEN technology is a next generation in vitro test that provides clinicians with a front-line solution leading to early diagnosis of allergy conditions. OPTIGEN results are accurate, reliable and reproducible, and correlate well with skin testing and single allergen systems.

The unique value of OPTIGEN is its minimal serum requirement, making it an ideal tool for early diagnosis. With OPTIGEN’s panel format, clinicians can receive up to 36 specific IgE results from a single serum sample. OPTIGEN is state-of-the-art allergy testing technology. It eliminates inventory of individual allergens and decreases waste. With lower serum requirements, smaller volumes of serum controls are necessary, further reducing cost.
OPTIGEN, with its simple, three-step process and same day results, requires minimal training. It provides plenty of "walk-away" time, allowing staff to perform other duties. The panel format also decreases "handling" for technicians. The results are determined by loading the OPTIGEN Pette into the CLA-1™ Luminometer.
